Bring on the Storms
We had one hell of a storm here last night.
We very rarely get tornado warnings for our area, but we did last night. Sirens to boot.
So we all went downstairs and sat around the TV watching for updates. It sounded horrible outside, but I don’t think any of us were really concerned about a tornado touching down.
We were, however, concerned about the garden and the fence. The fence in the backyard is hanging by a thread. It’s on the list of repairs, but it’s about 3rd on that list, so it probably won’t get fixed until fall.
Disclaimer: I am not playing down the severity of a storm.
I love storms. I love the lightning, I love the thunder too, I love the sound of rain (boomdeyataboomdeyataboomdeyata – I watch too much Discovery Channel). I sleep SO well when it storms. It’s fantastic.
I would be happy if it stormed every night….
