I am in my early 30’s, single, unemployed, living with family.

Short story, I was working for a company for 5 years.  I became so stressed from the overload of work (they got rid of 3 people and gave me most of their work) that I began manifesting that stress physically.  Twitching, hives, chest pains, migraines, etc.  My doctor put me on medical leave.  They basically fired me.  Too small to be under FMLA so, not a lot of recourse.

But, it was for the best.  Divine intervention, if you will.

So, I was fortunate to have a family that took care of me.

I’m a writer.  But a constipated writer for most of my life.  I finally had time to write a novel.  So I did.

It took about a year to do the first draft, had a friend, Laura Ruby, read it and give me feed back.  She suggested, and I agreed, that it would be better in 1st person rather than 3rd.

Before I could sink my teeth into the rewrite, my Uncle was in an accident and nearly died.  My mom sacrificed everything to care for him.  For the last year, she has taken care of him and I have taken care of my grandma (my mom’s mom) and the house so she can focus on him.

So, that’s how I got here.

Here is me, in my early 30’s, single, and not so happy about it anymore, and unemployed.

I am looking for a job, but having been out of one for so long, it’s difficult to get calls.  In the meantime, I do this.  Express myself in the only way I really can let go.  My book takes too much time, hours of undisturbed writing, but I don’t get that.  I barely can get 30 minutes undisturbed, so blogging it is.
